Auger bits are a vital component of your hole-drilling system. Toughness that comes from extra machining, more welding, and a precise geometry are standard equipment. Only LOWE® offers you so many extra features at so little cost. Standard auger length is 50” but augers are available at various lengths on request.
SQ-Series Augers are an excellent combination of performance and price for standard duty digging in light to moderate ground conditions. They feature a fabricated boring head, bolt on teeth (standard heat-treated or carbide tipped), heavy duty double wrap flighting, hardened fishtail point, and made to fit 29/16” (65mm) round or 2” (51mm) hex tops
LP-Series Augers work well in harder, drier digging conditions and compact soils. The combination of wide outside teeth and inside chisel teeth work well together as digging gets tougher. Heat treated alloy steel boring heads and a wide variety of teeth and points are available. LP-Series augers are recommended for use on BP-150, BP-210 and BP-230 planetary gear units, the CL-Series auger units when used in tougher conditions, and certain backhoe loader applications. TSQ-Series Augers are designed with smaller diameter auger flighting on the bottom, which leaves a space for root balls, fertilizer, or mulch. These augers are available with standard heat treated or carbide tipped teeth with auger tops of 29/16” (65mm) round or 2” (51mm) hex tops
LX-Series Augers are the strongest and most durable augers that we have ever produced. They bring new elements of performance and durability to the attachment industry. Recommended for use with the larger, more powerful drive units where conditions are unusually tough and abrasive. We feel that you will not find a better attachment auger bit anywhere. Available with 2” (51mm) or 21 /2” (64mm) hex tops
RSQ-Series Augers offer a way to dig holes in fracturable rock and coral applications. Using conical carbide teeth and a choice of center points that include fishtail, carbide stepped and carbide wrapped allow these augers to dig where flat tooth augers cannot. Available with 2” (51mm), 21 /2” (64mm) hex tops or 29/16” (65mm) round tops
